PERU,Indiana – Monday morning, the Miami County Commissioners met and the AED’s have been installed in all three floors of the Courthouse. There will be two training days and three hours each day on how to use the AED’s. Vacation days at the Courthouse were also discussed. Commissioner Larry West.
Various bids for road materials were approved by the board. The following vendors who submitted bids were: Central Paving of Logansport, E&B Paving INC. of Kokomo; Gaunt & Son Asphalt, Inc., of Wabash; Marathon Petroleum Company LP of Indianapolis; Asphalt Materials, INC., of Indianapolis; Pierceton Trucking Company, Inc., of Warsaw and Bit-Mat Asphalt Products of Ashley, Indiana. Miami County Highway Department Supervisor Mike Sisson will take bids under advisement and will award bids on March, 21st at 9:00 a.m. at the Commissioners meeting.
