Cledith Ann Lee

Cledith Ann Lee, age 62, passed away peacefully in her sleep, April 17, 2024. She was born April 19, 1961, in Marion, the daughter of the late Darrell Powell and the late Julia (Dodson) Smithee. She married Randy Lee on December 21, 1981, and he survives in Fairmount.

Cledith was a homemaker and loved playing board games and cards with friends and family. She loved to play Aggravation and BINGO, card games such as Hand and Foot and Pinochle, with anyone who was willing. She had a huge heart and had plenty of love to go around for everyone, especially her grandchildren. Cledith loved being a grandma and enjoyed playing with her grandkids as well as helping them with their homework.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by four sons: Randy B. Lee, Fairmount, Jordan (Tanya) Lee, Texas, Daniel Saylors, Fairmount and William Saylors, Marion, three daughters: Sunshine (Randall) Reynolds, Fairmount, Casandra (Shaun) Woodring, Gas City, Sabina (Nathan Miller) Fisher, Hartford City, three sisters: Victoria Powell, Marion, Dione  Winslow, MI, Michelle Runyan, IN,  five brothers: Glen (Billie) Powell, TN, Christopher Powell, TN , Tony ( Marue) Powell, MI, Robert (Pam) Powell, Fairmount, and Kenneth (Susan) Smithee, Fairmount, thirty grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Cledith was preceded in death by her Mother and Stepfather Julia (Robert) Dodson Smithee, her Father and Stepmother Darrell (Doris) Powell, one daughter Audrey Thompson and one brother Scott Powell.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W Kem Rd., Marion. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services in Gardens of Memory Cemetery 11201 S Marion, Rd 35, Marion. Pastor Ken Dykhoff will officiate.
