Christopher “Chris” Burl Good, 56, of Lagro, Indiana, died at 6:30 am, Friday, October 4, 2019 at his home. He was born April 14, 1963 in Wabash, Indiana to Burl Good and Iris Ann (Gilbert) White.
Chris was a 1981 graduate of Huntington North High School. He married Shawn Overman in Wabash on March 26, 1988. Chris worked as a maintenance worker at Ford Meter Box in Wabash for 27 years. He attended Dora Christian Church. Chris enjoyed working on old cars, going to car shows and swap meets, and hanging out with his car buddies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and most especially his first grandson, Hudson.
He is survived by his wife, Shawn Good of Lagro, three children, Dexter B (Riley) Good of Bloomington, Indiana, Chelsea M Good of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Hayden F Good of Lagro, grandson, Hudson Good of Bloomington, father, Burl Good of Wabash, mother, Iris Ann White of Valparaiso, Indiana, and three sisters, Sherri (Tim) Waters of Andrews, Indiana, Tonya (Todd) Blair of Wabash, and Alicia (Ed) Letts of Cape May Court House, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Tracy Good and Trisha Good.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Bill Cook officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call 2-7 pm Monday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer Society or Heart to Heart Hospice.
