Cheryl A Shook, 66, Marion, passed away in her home at 5:33 am on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, October 1, 1954, to and Clemoveta (Harris) Brannen. On May 31, 1989, she married William “Bill” Shook and he survives.
Cheryl graduated from Marion High School and was a member of the Gas City Moose Lodge. Before getting sick and was able, she loved to bowl and crochet.
Along with her husband, William “Bill” Shook of Marion, survivors also include her son, Jeremy J. Scott of NC; sister, Linda (Larry) Haskett of Marion; sister-in-law, Dona Gandy of Marion; best friend, Diane Hinkle; aunts, Marty and Deany; her first husband, Tim Scott, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clemoveta (Kenneth) Brannen; and brothers, Joey Ray Bennett and Steven Bennett.
The family will receive visitors from 11 am to 1 pm on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Cheryl’s life will begin at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
