Cameron Wayne Hackworth

Cameron Wayne Hackworth spent 47 days filling his parent’s hearts with love. Cameron was born on December 6, 2019 in Huntington, Indiana to Timothy W. Hackworth and Leah M. (Anderson) Ortiz of Kimmell, Indiana. He was called to Heaven on January 22, 2020 at 3:20 a.m.

Although Cameron’s life was short, he filled his parents’ hearts with a life time of love. He gave those around courage, by the strength in which he fought and his will to live. Cameron will always be remembered by his parents as their “little prize fighter.”

The loving memory of Cameron will be forever cherished by his parents; his brother, Michael Ortiz; his three sisters, Lydia Ortiz, Jaqueline Ortiz, Shelby Hackworth; his paternal grandparents, Linda and Timothy Hackworth, North Manchester; his paternal great-grandparents, Rick and Kathleen Hicks, South Whitley; his maternal grandparents, Angela and Juan Ramirez, North Manchester; maternal great-grandparents, Jack and Darlene Wagner, North Manchester; three aunts, Melinda Hackworth, Shailea (Tyler) Singleton, Lexi Ramirez; three uncles, Jacob (Jennifer) Anderson, Juan Ramirez, and Layton Ramirez and many cousins. He is preceded in death by two great-grandparents and a great uncle, Joshua Allen Hicks.

A celebration of life for Cameron will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Jacob Anderson will officiate the service.
