Visitation will be from 1 – 4 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Brunk Conley officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Huntington County.

Bobby was born on January 12, 1941 in Floyd County, Kentucky, the son of Willie and Delphia (Bryant) Johnson. He married Larya G. Slone on October 6, 1962 in Clintwood, Virginia. He worked at Ecolab in Huntington attended First Freewill Baptist Church for many years. He loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, and especially liked driving fast.
Surviving in Huntington are his wife of 55 years, Larya G. Johnson, a daughter, Debra S. (Charles) Shook, brothers Allen Johnson and Big Boy (Sue) Johnson, and a sister, Glenda McDowell. Also surviving are sisters Betty Isaac of Wheelwright, Kentucky and Millie Skeens of Martin, Kentucky, a grandson, Eric D. Tackett of Huntington, a granddaughter, Jennifer L. (Matthew) Willett of Fort Wayne, a special grandchild, Alivia Bradbury, and a great granddaughter, Makayla Willett. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters.
