Billy J. Hogge December 18, 1939 ~ January 28, 2018 Billy J. Hogge, 78, Marion, died at 11:46 a.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion. He was born in Salt Lick, Kentucky on December 18, 1939, to the late Wilson and Sue (Clark) Hogge and was attended both Salt Lick High School and Owingsville High School. He married Loretta K. Plummer on March 15, 1958. She survives. Billy retired from Gen Corp in 2001 after 30 years. He attended LaFontaine United Methodist Church and loved his church and his Lord and Savior. Billy loved woodworking and working in his yard. He enjoyed his flowers and also enjoyed fishing. He was very helpful and always happy to lend a hand to his family and neighbors. In addition to his wife, Loretta, Billy is survived by his son, Billy K. (Michelle) Hogge, LaFontaine; a granddaughter, McKayla (Jake) Bunnell, Nashville, Tennessee; “grandson”, Kevin Hall; sisters, Mary Sue Crouch, Kentucky and Kitty McQueen, Marion; beloved dog, Missy. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and five sisters. The family will receive visitors from 11-1 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Indiana. The funeral service celebrating Billy’s life will begin at 1 p.m. immediately following visitation with Pastor Crystal Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park.
