Betty Louise Mansbarger, 90, of Marion, passed away at 5:05 pm on Friday, September 11, 2020, surrounded by family. She was born on March 19, 1930, to Jess and Sarah Zedecker. She married Robert Mansbarger on May 22, 1948. They celebrated 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2011.
Betty was a member of Grace Community Church. She was an excellent cook and loved baking pies for her family and church family. She enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains and Florida with her family. She was formerly employed at General Plastics, Jupiter, and Marion General Hospital. She was a wonderful and loving mother and cared for everyone in her life.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Connie) Mansbarger and Tom (Diane) Mansbarger of Marion; grandchildren, Scott (William) Hall-Linn, Garry (Leslie) Linn, Jeff (Shelly) Mansbarger, Tim (Niki) Mansbarger, and Susan (Jordan) Swift; 12 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Minnie Mansbarger, Hannah Zedecker, Pearl Zedecker, as well as her grandson, David Mansbarger.
Betty’s son, Pastor Tom Mansbarger, will officiate a private graveside service for immediate family only. Burial will be alongside her husband at Estates of Serenity Cemetery.
