Betty J. Floyd, North Manchester, Indiana passed away at 2:30 a.m. on December 31, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Betty was born in Warren, Indiana to Retta Souers. She graduated from Warren High School. On November 8, 1937 Betty married Robert W. Floyd. He passed away on August 13, 1973. Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a former employee of Priser’s Dry Cleaners, North Manchester and owner of Floyd’s Sunoco since 1977, which they started in 1955. Betty was a daily fixture at Floyd’s Sunoco and enjoyed interaction with all customers. Betty is survived by two sons Robert G. (Linda) Floyd, Dunedin, Florida and William R. “Bill” Floyd, North Manchester. Calling and funeral services will be private. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. For those who wish to honor the memory of Betty J.
