Ashley Nicole Crowe, 34, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Saturday May 6, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
Ashley was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1983 to Dawn Watson Crowe and Edward Crowe. In 1989, Ashley became a big sister to Katie Elizabeth who called her sissy. Ashley attended Maconaquah High School where she loved playing the clarinet in the band and later received her GED.
Ashley blessed the world with 3 beautiful daughters, Abigail Paige Stout of Kokomo, Elizabeth Faith Crowe of Bunker Hill, and Anna Marie Howell of Peru, Indiana, who she truly loved. Ashley was unable to take care of her girls due to her bipolar illness, but that did not stop her from loving her daughters and wanting to spend time with them. Ashley had a laugh that was contagious. Ashley made friends easily and was willing to help anyone she could.
Ashley is preceded in death by her grandmother Marlene Watson and Isabella Crowe and an uncle Terry Williams. Ashley is survived by her mother and step-father Dawn and James Calfee, father Edward Crowe, her sister and brother-in-law Katie and Daniel Wyant, her grandparents Rex Watson and Joyce Fobes, and step siblings Shelly and Aaron Day, Selena and Phil Phillpy, Dalton and Katelin Calfee. She is also survived by her uncles and aunts, Greg and Beverly Forrey, Jeffrey Forrey, K. Scott and Sandra Forrey, Kelly Chapman and Laurel and Jerry Clements, John and Cyndi Crowe and David and Chris Crowe. Ashley leaves behind her all her loving cousins to many to name and a best friend Tina Phelps. Through Ashley’s passing, she gave hope and life to others through donation of her earthly body.
Visitation will be held from 4pm – 6pm on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Randy Shinolt officiating. Love offerings may be made through Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
