Anita J. (Finster) Sprinkle walked into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
She was born October 15, 1923 to Guy and Clara (Jackson) Cunningham. On December 3, 1941 she married Chester J. Finster who preceded her to heaven on December 25, 1992. On January 11, 1997 she married Elbert P. Sprinkle who also preceded her to heaven on March 17, 2004.
Anita was retired from American Trust Company. She leaves behind her daughter, Carlene (Mark) Harmon of Bunker Hill, Rod (Patty) Finster of Tremont, PA, and daughter-in-law Malinda Finster of Franklin, TN, grandchildren Ashlee (Dana) Bartley of Franklin, TN, Allyson Finster of Tremont, PA, and David (Sadie) Harmon of Bunker Hill as well as one great-grandson, Hayden Finster of Tremont, PA. Besides her husbands, Anita was preceded to heaven by her son, Dean Finster who passed away September 20, 2018, and her sisters, Mary Lou Sommers, and Eula Jean Eikenberry.
A celebration of Anita’s life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana, with Pastor Dave Jodry officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to Peru Grace Brethren Church and/or The Gideons.
