Amy Lynn Guthrie, 46, North Manchester passed away August 5, 2020 at her residence. Amy was born to Robert A. Guthrie and Vonda Gatchel on April 28, 1974 in Wabash, Indiana.
Amy was a graduate of Whitko High School class of 1993. She was an amazing CNA and a loving caretaker working at Peabody Retirement Community for twelve years. She was a wild soul full of life, calling herself vivacious. She was easy to laugh with and put a smile on everyone’s face. She loved turtles and the ocean they were the calming balance to her wild soul.
The memory of Amy Lynn Guthrie will be forever remembered by her mother, Vonda (David Hagen) Gatchel, South Whitley, Indiana; sister, Michelle Wakefield, North Manchester, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Mary Gatchel, Wabash, Indiana; paternal grandmother, Cleo Hippensteel, North Manchester; and step-father, David (Sharon) Wakefield, Hardinsburg, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father.
Private services will be held at a later date.
