Allie C. Hunt, Jr., 62, Marion, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on August 2, 1959, to Allie and Alma (Johnson) Hunt.
Allie graduated from Marion High School. He loved and was known for riding his scooter. He looked forward to riding his scooter every day to Village Pantry and getting his food for the day. Allie enjoyed watching television and loved his family. He lived a quiet, comfortable life.
Survivors include his sister, Billie Esarey of Marion; nieces, Susan (Kevin) McMillan of IL and Shelly McCutcheon of Huntington; nephews, Jim Esarey of Eaton and Mike (Alecia) Esarey of Fort Walton Beach, FL; uncle, Bill Johnson of KY; and aunt, Betty Lawson of KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lenda Sue Docherty and Diana Heal; and brothers-in-law, Cameron Esarey and Bill Heal.
A graveside service to celebrate Allie’s life will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Grant Memorial Park, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
