Allen Lee Stuber

Allen Lee Stuber, 83, Denver, Indiana, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at his residence.

Born On June 16, 1935, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, he was the son of Eldridge Lincoln “Jack” and Beatrice Irene Launer Stuber.  On March 19, 1960, in Denver, Indiana, he was married to the former Carolyn Kay Ogle, and she preceded in death on February 16, 2009.

He was retired from Dana Corporation in Marion and had worked for many years at United Tool in Wabash.  He graduated from Metea High School and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Mentone.  He was a United States Army veteran having served in Germany and Texas.

Survivors include three sons, Kurt (Jackie) Stuber, Denver; Kerry (Melissa) Stuber, Chili; and Wendell (Penny) Stuber, Rochester; two daughters, Karen (David) Boone, Denver; and Kara Stuber, Dallas, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Jennie Stuber, Kokomo; Nicholas Stuber, Roann; Trent Gordin, Georgia; David, Jr. and Abbigail Boone, both of Denver; and Madisyn Gordin and Kaitlyn Gordin, both of Georgia; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Wilson, Muncie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Nathan Ryan Stuber; and two brothers, Jack Lowell Stuber, and Ray Earl Stuber.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019, at McClain Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Sheets officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the funeral home.
