Subhashbhai C. Patel, 62, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:14 pm, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. He was born March 5, 1954 in India, to Chunilal and Revaben Patel.
Subhashbhai married Jashodabahen Patel in India on May 23, 1978. He was a bank manager in India, and moved to the United States in June 2006, and became a US citizen in 2013. He worked a the Knights Inn in Wabash.
He is survived by his wife, Jashodabahen Patel of Wabash; son Nitin (Lopa) Patel and his children, Saloni and Shreya Patel; daughter, Chetana (Mehul) Patel, and her children, Stuti and Divya Patel, all of India; his mother, Revaben Patel and his brother, Rajnikant (Urmila) Patel, both of Schaumburg, Illinois, and his sister, Leela (Bhupenbra) Patel of India. He was preceded in death by his father, Chunilal Patel.
There will be a prayer service starting at 12:00 pm on Sunday October 23, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash. The family invites all guests for Prasad at 1950 South Wabash Street in Wabash at 2:30 pm. There will be a procession to the Northern Indiana Crematory in Fort Wayne, leaving at 4:00 pm from the funeral home on Sunday.
