Margaret Jean Bellis Hummer, 85, of Largo, Florida and Fairmount, Indiana passed away Friday, June 17, 2016. Margaret was the daughter of the late Howard Miles and Florence Adella (Jones) Bellis and was born in Fort Recovery, Ohio on July 11, 1930. She married the love of her life, the late Richard “Dick” J Hummer on February 25, 1949 in Portland, Indiana. In 1951 Margaret “Maggie” and Dick moved to Fairmount to raise their family. Maggie enjoyed and cared for her family, friends, and Fairmount community.

She was preceded in death by her son Jon J Hummer, her husband Richard “Dick” J Hummer, her parents Howard and Florence Bellis,her brothers, William, David, Virginia, Marilyn, Nancy
Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services have been entrusted to care for Margaret Jean Bellis Hummer where private graveside services will be conducted for the immediate family and friends.
Memorial donations may be directed in her name to PlayAcres Park in care of Rick Haynes, Superintendant for Fairmount Streets and Park Department.
