Wabash Marketplace Announces April First Friday Cancellation

Wabash, Ind. – First Friday in Downtown Wabash scheduled for Friday, April 3 is
cancelled. The Board of Directors of Wabash Marketplace decided to cancel the event
prior to the Stay-At-Home Order by Governor Holcomb. Executive Director Andrea
Zwiebel says, “The event usually draws large crowds. Even with social distancing, the
event would exceed crowd limitations. Our decision was validated by the Stay-At-Home
Order.” She continues, “We plan to host First Friday events in the future. At this time,
we are still proceeding with the event on May 1.”
2020 First Friday events are sponsored in honor of Crossroads Bank’s 100th
Anniversary, 95.9 Kiss FM, Beacon Credit Union, Grow Wabash County, Wabash Plain
Dealer, and Wabash Marketplace.
