Tuesday, November 1st, Mexico residents: your street or road will be sealed with Biorestor, Bio-Based Asphalt Sealant and Rejuvenator. The street or road will be closed for approximated 1 to 2 hours. Residents need to remove all vehicles parked on or near the pavement between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Rain or equipment problems may delay the work until the following business day. Studies have shown that it is expensive to preserve asphalt pavement than to allow it to break apart until it needs repaired or replaced. It is clear that the most effective way to spend our tax dollars is to make this road last as long as possible by applying preventive maintenance treatments in a timely manner. As it ages, 6-12 years, and becomes rough and uneven, it will require an additional 40,000 to 50,000 gallons of petroleum and liquid asphalt.
