WABASH – On June 05, 2017, at approximately 7:25 p.m. Wabash City Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 438 West Market Street. Officers on scene, allege that while investigating the disturbance they had evidence to continue a drug investigation. Wabash City Police allege they obtained a search warrant for the residence. Fred Nelson, 55, Wabash was arrested for a Parole Warrant, Possession of Methamphetamine, and of Possession of a Syringe. Frank E. Stambaugh , 34, Peru, and Erica J. Wrisk, 28, Wabash were also present in the residence and were both placed on a 72 hour hold pending drug related charges. All three were taken to Wabash County Jail. All alleged narcotics located will be forwarded to the Indiana State Police Lab for confirmatory testing. Assisting Wabash City Police were officers from the Drug Task Force, and Wabash County Sheriff’s Deputies.
