WARSAW,Indiana — Here’s a story parents need to be aware of. A-36-year old man from Murfreesboro , Tennessee is in the Kosciusko County jail facing numerous charges pertaining to child solicitation.
Last Saturday, Warsaw Police arrested 36-year-old Adam Lee Morton of 928 East Northfield Blvd in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He is charged with four counts of child solicitation, possession of child pornography and three counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors all felonies. The Warsaw police investigation had been going on over some time. Police approached Warsaw High School officials concerning four freshman girls and one middle school girl who they believed were communicating with someone they thought to be 19 years old from Tennessee but in reality was 36-year-old Adam Lee Morton.
Over a period of time Morton used two aliases to engage the young girls in sexual conversation on line, sending nude photos and having cybersex. Police gained access to Facebook accounts and were able to track all of the internet traffic and all messages and photos before arresting Morton last Saturday. Morton had enticed the girls to send nude photos of themselves to him. Several had phone conversations with Morton under the names Josh Black and Rob White.
Warsaw police say this is a prime example why parents need to be aware what they’re children are doing on line. This predator had five young girls convinced he was two different 19 year old young men interested in the girls.
