Suspicious Activity Call Leads To Arrests In Kosciusko County Portable Toilets

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY,Indiana – Two individuals from Warsaw were arrested Friday morning after police received a call of suspicious activity inside a portable restroom in Kosciusko County, near Tippecanoe Lake. When police officers arrived, one man, identified as Steven Paul Gasaway, 25, Warsaw, fled on foot and was caught hiding in a nearby cabin cruiser boat. Gasaway is facing felony corruption business influence charges, as well as possession of a schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance and two counts of failure to appear. He is currently being held without bond.

The woman, identified as Hannah Marie Brown, 23, Warsaw, was found hiding in one of the porta-potties and is facing felony corruption business influence charges. She is being held on $10,000 surety and $250 cash bond.

Kosciusko County law enforcement had been looking for the pair for quite some time before receiving the call of suspicious individuals around 10 am Friday morning.
