Salvation Army Peru Service Extension Unit Adjusts Procedures

PERU, IN- Due to COVID-19 Virus the Salvation Army Peru Service Extension Unit has adjusted their procedures as the following: They are asking that clients call first and they will package the food and have it ready for when they arrive to pick it up. This should reduce wait time and people gathering in the waiting area. The doors will be locked so clients will need to call again when they arrive or knock on the door, and the volunteers will bring the packaged food out. The hours will currently remain the same, Monday – Thursday 8:30am -11:30am. Emergency (utility, rental etc..)assistance will be by appointment only. The Salvation Army is doing all they can to keep their clients safe and their volunteers as well. Phone number is 765-473-5498.
