PERU,Indiana – The City of Peru Board of Public works met Monday evening. Peru Police Chief Mike Meeks ordered three cars from Bob Schwartz Ford and Chrysler and the board approved the leasing of the cars. The board then approved the Paving project for the city of Peru. Peru Mayor Gabe Greer.
The block party was approved from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday June 26th at the 500 Block of West 5th in which John and Julie Schwartz will be putting this on for residents. A local resident also came to the meeting and requested to the board to have a dumpster be removed at 338 Washington Ave.
