Thursday, March 12, 2020 at approximately 4:21 pm, officers from the North Manchester Police Department responded to a fight in progress with shots fired in the 500 block of Kech Street. Three males at the scene were question. Jonathan S. Hopkins, 24, Akron was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm. Austin M. Lakes, 23, Connersville was arrested for intimidation. The case was sent to the Wabash County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is innocent until proven guilty.
