GRANT COUNTY, Ind. – Those in the New Easter Pageant, to be presented on Monday and Tuesday March 26 and 27, 2018 at 7 pm in the Star Financial Coliseum, are hard at work. It takes many volunteers to make this happen. They ask that you consider getting involved with this wonderful blessed historical event for the community. The future continuation of the pageant relies on the community.
Here are the group’s desperate needs:
-Palm and Garland Girls- Elementary age girls to sing a specific song, dressed in beautiful costume carrying palms and a flower Garland standing on the Temple steps. (Costume provided)
-Jerusalem Boys/Scholars-
Elementary through 8th grade boys to sing a specific song, dressed in costume standing on the Temple steps. Boys also enter the Temple at the beginning of the presentation carrying candles (battery) and forming a cross as the move through the streets of Jerusalem. (Costume provided)
Many residents of Marion remembers starting out as a Palm and Garland Girl or a Scholar.
-Jerusalem Maidens Dance-
Jr. High through Sr. High girls. A beautiful choreographed featured dance, dressed in a beautiful angelic type white costume. (Costume provided)
-Cymbal Girls-
Sr. High through college age. Choreographed festive colorful dance, dressed in colorful costumes using Cymbal props with flowing ribbons. (Costume provided)
Many Marion residents remembers these beautiful dances.
The pageant was created to involve all ages of people.

There is no cost to get involved. Please commit your time for the next 6 weeks to help make this a beautiful presentation. You will not regret your involvement.

We need townspeople (men, women and children) families!
Need men to portray Soldiers. They are only about halfway there in their numbers.
