MSDWC Theatre Department to perform The Little Mermaid Musical this weekend

WABASH, IN- The MSD of Wabash County Theater Department has experienced rapid growth throughout the past two years, and it is no mystery as to why. Originally having been revived after the pandemic by the wonderful production of “Clue,” the MSDWC theater has built forward momentum and taken on more rigorous productions such as “Into the Woods,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and this year’s musical production of “The Little Mermaid.”

Through the combined efforts of Theatre Director Lindsay Knee, the ever-changing, ambitious and dedicated group of actors from Southwood and Northfield Jr/Sr High Schools, and the many parents and sponsors who have made the technical side of productions possible, the MSDWC Theater Department has built a respectable reputation stemming from its quality productions.

This year’s fall musical, “The Little Mermaid,” is sure to blow the audience out of the water as every member of the theater department has put great effort into making this a high-quality production. The community is encouraged to come enjoy and support the student thespians’ hard work this weekend.

The performances will occur at Southwood Jr/Sr High School on Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4, at 7:00 pm. There will also be a Sunday matinee on November 5 at 3:00 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door and will be priced at $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children aged three and under.
