MPD Respond to Robbery

On November 9, 2021, approximately 9:35 PM. Marion Police received a call of a
Robbery that had occurred. The victim was in the 3400 block of South Selby St.
Officers arrived and found the victim who required medical attention. The victim
stated that he went to 3628 S. Washington where he used to live. He was there to
get a few items that were left behind. The victim knocked on the door and was
invited in. The victim stated that when he entered the living room he was hit with
something that knocked him out. He woke back up and had more than one person
hitting him all over while he was on a couch in the front room. He looked up and
stated that he saw Craig Bright 49 of Marion pointing a gun at him. The victim
stated that Bright was telling him to give the cell phone back. The victim was able
to get out of the house and went to 3400 S. Selby and called the Police. The victim
realized that his wallet was missing and he had just cashed his check and was
missing an undisclosed amount of US Currency.

Officers secured the residence 3628 S. Washington St. for a Search Warrant.
During this process they located and arrested the following people for unrelated
warrants:
Craig Bright 49 of Marion: Possession of Methamphetamine, $25, 000 Bond.
Burglary Level 4, Auto Theft, Level 6 and Theft Level 6 Felony, $10,000 Cash
Bond
Nadar Davis 45 of Gas City: Domestic Battery, Level 5 Felony $25,000 Cash Bond
Mariah Dickerhoff 19 of Marion: Burglary Level 4, Obstruction of Justice Level 6
and Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony, No Bond
Charles Brady 36 of Marion: Non Support of Dependent Level 6 Felony $6000.00
Bond, Possession of a Syringe Level 6 Felony $25,000 Bond, Writ of Attachment
$750.00
Another Suspect and Bright will have Criminal Charges Presented to the
Prosecutors Office for Robbery, Battery and Intimidation.
The case is active.
