Miami County Community Foundation Announces Finalists for Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – The Miami County Community Foundation has announced the finalists for the Miami County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. The six finalists were chosen from a field of twenty-six applicants. Applicants must live in Miami County and attend a public Indiana High School. Of the finalists, one will be chosen as the 2018 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar for Miami County. The other five student finalists will each receive a one thousand dollar scholarship. The finalists are Andrew Baker, son of Ryan and Karen Baker, is a Peru High School student who plans to study aeronautical engineering technology. Abigail Bourne, daughter of Douglas and Carla Bourne, is a Maconaquah High School student who plans to study zoology. Joshua Catanzaro, son of Glen and Kari Catanzaro, is a Maconaquah High School student who is considering an education path in music, piano performance or music education. Connor Hanaway, son of Michael and Tricia Hanaway, is a North Miami High School student who plans to study business. Garrett Rogers, son of Billy and Shannon Rogers, is a Peru High School student who is planning on studying computer science or informatics. Ashley Rouch, daughter of Jason and Angela Rouch, is a North Miami High School student who plans to study nursing. For more information, contact NICF Scholarship Coordinator Alison Heyde at 574-223-2227 or e-mail alison@nicf.org.
