MIAMI COUNTY, IN- United Way of Miami County shared that the Board of Directors for MHANCI, a non-profit organization, is seeking a seasoned, progressive, and self-motivated person to serve as its Executive Director of Mental Health American of North Central Indiana. Qualified applicants should be visionary leaders with a forward thinking strategy; long-term planning skills; should have prior experience in the field of mental health and/or substance abuse prevention. This person will work under the supervision of a Board of Directors. The position is based in Howard County but entails working closely with and regular travel to Miami, Cass and Tipton counties. The Executive Director is the administrative lead and spokesperson for the organization. Job duties include: attending all board meetings; create, evaluate and manage all programs while developing systems to track objectives; maintain fiscal responsibility for organization, solicit funds from donors, development and manage a strong volunteer base, research/write/administer grants, create and supervise fundraisers. A bachelor’s degree is preferred in a related field of study. The salary range is $42,000 – $52,000, based upon education and prior experience.
