PERU,Indiana – Miami County Museum is honoring Cole Porter in Peru with music at the museum from 10 am until 4 pm on Saturday. Cole Porter tours are also available at 10, 12:30, and 2:30 for $7.00 per person. Charles Troy will give a Multimedia Porter presentation at the Museum Annex at 11 am and 1 pm. Several other activities are scheduled for Saturday and here is Vickie Draper with more.
Sunday concludes the 125th anniversary birthday celebration of Cole Porter with champagne brunch at the Cole Porter Inn from 11 until 2 pm. An Old Fashion Ice Cream Social will take place at the Courthouse Square from 1 until 3 and feature the Swamp Water Stompers. In addition to all of that, Children Games and Guided tours of the Miami County Museum takes place from 1:30 and 2:30 pm.
