Joyce Ann Miller July 28, 1943 ~ February 2, 2018 Joyce Ann Miller, 74, Gas City, died at 2:40 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in the IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born in Matthews, Indiana on July 28, 1943, to the late Herman and Irene (Trout) Fights. She married Jack Miller on February 11, 1961. He survives. Joyce was a bank teller and also management of Pizza King. She was a former member of the New Hope United Methodist Church. Joyce loved to read, travel, and watch the Hallmark Channel. She loved visiting her children and great-grandchildren and her favorite hobby was dining out. In addition to her husband, Jack, Joyce is survived by her children, Rod Miller, Freeport, Illinois, Tracee (Landon) Underwood, Evansville, and Kellee (Donald) Troxtle, Parish, Florida; grandchildren, Jamie Finch, Thomas Troxtle, Ashley Underwood, and Tyler Underwood; great-grandchildren, Christian Troxtle, Kallen Finch, and Logan Finch; brother, Robert (Betty) Fights, Chesterfield. Along with her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Andrew and brother, Donald Fights. The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, Indiana. A Celebration of Life for Joyce will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
