Janet E. Moran, 75, Marion, died at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in her residence. She was born in Marion, Indiana on February 27, 1942 to the late Orion K. and Geneva Ingris (Thompson) Huckery and attended Marion High School for 2 1/2 years then graduated from Swayzee High School. She married James A. Moran on March 7, 1990. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2008.
Janet was retired and loved to cook and decorate. Janet had a heart of gold, taking in many animals that did not have a home. She loved the Lord and was a selfless, beautiful woman.
Survivors include her children, Jon (Terri) David, Ft. Wayne and Keith (Cathy) Maitlen, Greenbay, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Erika Bronzini, Marion, Rachael David, Ft. Wayne, Isaac (Danielle) David, Ft. Wayne, Carter Maitlen, Greenbay, Wisconsin, Ariel and Lorna Chovan, Greenbay, Wisconsin, Freddy and Jessica Horine, Alabama; great-grandchild, Cameron Cole, Louisiana; and sister, Patricia Masters, Marion.
In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by her son, Daniel David.
The family will receive visitors from Noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, Indiana. The funeral service to celebrate Janet’s life will begin immediately following visitation at 1p.m. with Pastor Solomon David officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
