On May 5, 2022, the JEAN Team Drug Task Force, assisted by Marion Police
Department, Gas City Police Department and Grant County Sheriff’s Department, conducted an
investigation at 7145 S Meridian Ave., Lot #109 just outside of Marion, IN. The JEAN Team
Drug Task Force Detectives observed wanted subject, Andrew Wilkerson, leave the residence at
White Oaks Mobile Home Park and drive away. A Gas City Officer and a Grant County Deputy
conducted a traffic stop on Andrew Wilkerson on 2nd St. in Gas City He was found to have
Methamphetamine on his person and paraphernalia in the vehicle. He was taken to the Grant
County Jail and a search warrant was obtained for the aforementioned property. JEAN Team
Detectives and Marion Police Department Detectives located Matthew Stephenson in a shed at
the rear of the property. He was in possession of Methamphetamine also and was taken to the
Grant County Jail. Shortly afterwards, the homeowner, Amie Curtis, arrived, was taken into
custody and transported to the Grant County Jail. A search warrant was obtained by JEAN Team
Detectives for the property. Inside the residence, there was approximately 58.9 grams of
Methamphetamine, approximately 50.4 grams of marijuana, Xanax and other pills, numerous
drug paraphernalia and other drug related items. Amie Curtis was initially charged with Dealing
in Methamphetamine, Level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 3 Felony,
Possession of a Controlled Substance, A Misdemeanor, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level
6 Felony, Possession of Marijuana, B Misdemeanor and Possession of Paraphernalia, C
Misdemeanor. Matthew Stephenson was initially charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine,
Level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 3 Felony, Possession of a Controlled
Substance, A Misdemeanor, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony, Possession of
Marijuana, B Misdemeanor and Possession of Paraphernalia, C Misdemeanor. Andrew
Wilkerson was initially charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony, Visiting a
Common Nuisance, B Misdemeanor and Possession of Paraphernalia, C Misdemeanor. This is
an ongoing investigation at this time.
