Hidden In Plain Sight Traveling Exhibit will be on Display at Second Saturday in Peru

MIAMI COUNTY, IN- “Hidden in Plain Sight”, a traveling exhibit designed to help parents recognize potential warning signs, will be on display at Second Saturday, located in downtown Peru at W. 5th St. and Broadway on Saturday, August 10th. Doors open for browsing at 5-8 p.m. The exhibit is open to adults only. There is no charge for admittance. By walking through a makeshift child’s bedroom, parents learn to identify objects that could provide critical insights about risky behavior. Amidst the clutter of clothing scattered on the floor, school supplies on a desk and personal care products on a vanity are more than 100 items that can actually be signals that a young person could be involved in risky, harmful or even illegal activity. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with the items on display.
