WABASH,Indiana – On the next Wabash Talks, we’ll introduce you new Wabash Parks Department Superintendent Adam Hall. Hall, a former Social Studies teacher at Wabash Middle School, spent nine years working for the Parks Department during his summers while in college and during summer break while teaching at the middle school. He has ample experience in the functioning of the Parks Department but he said that he has needed a little help from former Wabash Parks Superintendent Todd Titus when it comes to the administration side of things. Many people do not realize that nine parks make up the park system in Wabash, including the South Side Gardens in Choketown and a small park on Broadmoor Drive.

He told MiBash News that he is starting to hire the help the department will need to keep the parks in top shape during the summer months. And Hall himself is definitely chipping in. In fact, he plans on being at the pool so often this year he’ll most likely be one of the lifeguards. Parks department workers have to deal with everything to mowing and planting flowers to picking up soda cans and painting over graffiti. Hall explained that, for him, it’s all about keeping the city he loves looking the best it can.

It must have been a big decision to step to the role as parks superintendent right after 37-year veteran Todd Titus stepped down from that position late last year. But Hall wants city residents to know that he’ll do his best for the city and the park system in town.

To hear more from new Parks Department Superintendent Adam Hall, tune into Wabash Talks, this Sunday morning at 9 am on 105.9 The Bash.
