Grow Wabash County donates 500 books to local high schools

Wabash County, IN (April 15, 2022) – Grow Wabash County recently paid a visit to every
Wabash County high school to present each of them with a complete library of books from
the Dave Ramsay “EntreLeadership” series.
The library of books features titles from entrepreneurs, business professionals and public
figures about all aspects important to being an effective business person and leader. The
purchase and donation of these books were made possible by a grant awarded to Grow
Wabash County from the Don Wood Foundation (formerly the 80/20 Foundation Trust) to
promote and support student entrepreneurship in Wabash County.
“We are thrilled to be presenting each of our local high schools with this library of great titles
and we hope our student entrepreneurs find great value in the wisdom these books may
impart on them,” Keith Gillenwater, president and CEO of Grow Wabash County, said. “As our
communities look to the future, entrepreneurs will play an integral role in the development of
new businesses, jobs and community investment. We are excited to see what great
innovations these student entrepreneurs will bring to the table.”
Grow Wabash County has worked closely with the Wabash County school corporations, as
well as partners including INGUARD and the Don Wood Foundation, to develop and foster an
environment in Wabash County that fosters innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit for
people of all ages.
Many of these student entrepreneurs will be in the spotlight this spring during Grow Wabash
County’s third annual INnovate Wabash County student pitch competition on May 4 at the
Eagles Theatre in downtown Wabash.
