FT. WAYNE,Indiana – Sunday is the 100th running of the Indy 500 in Speedway. For Betty Eisenacher of Fort Wayne it is special day. Betty has been going to the race every year since 1946 and this year, the 100th running, will be her 71st trip to the track to see the race. She’s seen lots of changes at the race since she was a 21-year-old girl in 1946. For her it’s an early day starting at 4am. And she sits in the same seat every year, in turn four. This year will be no different. A few years back a local TV station did a story on her and she even got a ride in an Indy Car in 2006. So if you’re going to the 100th running of the Indy 500 Sunday look for 96-year-old Betty Eisenacher, she’ll be all dolled up sitting in her seat in turn four, say HI!
