WABASH,Indiana – Funny man Frank Caliendo will bring his one million and one impersonations to the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater on Sunday, July 24th at 7:30 pm. Many people know Caliendo from Fox’s NFL Sunday, but he has also appeared on the Letterman show impersonating John Madden and on Mad TV. He’s known for his sports-based impressions like Jon Gruden and Charles Barkley but that’s not the extent of his show. Other impressions range from Morgan Freeman to Al Pacino.

The 42-year-old Caliendo is often compared to the great impersonator Rich Little. He told MiBash News that he watched Little growing up on episodes of the Love Boat and the Muppet Show. But Caliendo explained that comedians like Jonathan Winters, Robin Williams and Dana Carvey were more of an influence because they were “character” comedians who would change impersonations in mid-sentence.

Caliendo is a Wisconsin native and told MiBash News that he loves the Midwest, calling its residents “real people.” He further added – in true Caliendo style – that out east everyone is pushy and out west no one cares. Tickets for Frank Caliendo go on sale on Thursday, June 2nd at 8 am.
