WABASH, INDIANA, July 14, 2017 — Eagles Theatre will host The Eagles Renovation Celebration, a month-long series of free movies and live performances throughout August, leading up to the commencement of an extensive renovation of the historic Eagles Theatre building in September.

The Eagles Renovation Celebration will feature a variety of live performances, including a 1906 Vaudeville Variety Show presented by Wabash Area Community Theater, a comedic performance by Michael Palascak, and the “Rockin’ the Hall of Fame” music show curated by Terry LeMaster of Wabash Music.

The celebration will also showcase movies through the decades, which were selected by popular vote. All selected movies and showtimes are available on the Eagles Theatre website.

“The Eagles Renovation Celebration is an opportunity to bring our community together before this historic landmark undergoes renovation. The Eagles Theatre Building is much more than a movie theatre. It is a place where countless events, activities and memories are made,” said Cathy Gatchel, Vice President of Development and Marketing at the Honeywell Foundation. “The Renovation Project will help us better utilize the entire building, and introduce entirely new opportunities to patrons visiting the space.”

Eagles Theatre will suspend operations beginning on September 5th, when the renovation project commences. When renovations are complete, the Eagles Building will house an additional movie screen, rentable entertainment spaces, classrooms, and arts and educational programming.
