Honeywell Center Gearing Up for the Holiday Season

WABASH, Ind. The Honeywell Center is announcing its new lineup of shows that will take place before and during the holidays. Tickets for all upcoming shows will go on sale Fri., July 21 at 10 a.m.

cirque dreams

The amazing Cirque Dreams Holidaze returns to the Honeywell Center for two performances.  The first performance will be on Sun., Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. followed by the second performance on Mon., Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. This spectacular show features soaring acrobatics, gravity defying feats, elaborate production numbers, imaginative costumes, illusions and more. Cirque Dreams Holidaze celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with singers, original music and brilliantly-colored costumes. Tickets are $45, $35 and $20.

mannheim steamroller

Setting the mood with holiday music will be Mannheim Steamroller appearing for two performances on Fri., Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Grammy Award winner Chip Davis has created a show that features Mannheim Steamroller Christmas classics. The program celebrates the group’s recent anniversary of 30 years since the first Christmas album. Experience the magic as the spirit of the season comes alive with the signature sound of Mannheim Steamroller. Corporate sponsorship is provided by The Ford Meter Box Company, Inc.  Tickets are $65, $52 and $38.

madrigal dinner theatre

The holiday fun continues with The Madrigal Dinner Theater, taking place in the Honeywell Center’s Legacy Hall for two performances on Fri., Dec. 1 and Sat., Dec. 2, beginning at 6 p.m. Plan now to celebrate the season right with this very entertaining and interactive event. Tickets are $45.

On Thurs., Dec. 7, Country artist sensation Martina McBride will perform on the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater stage at 7:30 p.m. McBride has earned more than 15 major music awards, including four wins for Female Vocalist of the Year from the Country Music Association. Corporate sponsorship is provided by Parkview Wabash Hospital. Tickets are $125, $85, $65 and $45.

Improvisation masterminds Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood return to the Honeywell Center with more hilarity doing what they do best in their Scared Script-less stage show on Fri., Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Known for their work on Whose Line is it Anyway, the duo improvises new material every night from audience suggestions and participation. Non-stop laughter for all ages!  Corporate sponsorship is provided by Rettig’s Industrial Supplies. Tickets are $76, $49, $35 and $20.

Coming to the Honeywell Center on Wed., Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. will be Christian artist Laura Story. Story found success as a recording artist with the release of her solo debut in 2008. Since then, she has amassed a Grammy Award, a Billboard Music Award, multiple GMA Dove Awards and an RIAA Gold certification for her massive No. 1 hit “Blessings.” Tickets are $45, $25 and $18.

the lettermen holiday show

The Lettermen Holiday Show will take you down memory lane as they perform on Fri., Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. The beautiful voices of the singing trio, The Lettermen, first hit the music charts in 1961 with “The Way You Look Tonight.” Their voices blended as one and after following that first hit with another chart topper, “When I Fall In Love,” they were voted best vocal group of that year. Their beautiful harmony truly is timeless! Tickets are $50, $35 and $25.

Another festive holiday show coming to the Honeywell Center is Carol of the King: the Irish Dance Christmas Spectacular, taking place on Sat., Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The world-renowned Irish dance troupe performs lighting fast hard shoe rhythms and graceful soft shoe jigs to an epic orchestral soundtrack, while state of the art lighting and Christmas spirit ignite the stage into an explosive display of dance and music. Tickets are $26 and $18.

The much anticipated Fort Wayne Phil Holiday Pops Concert will take place on Wed., Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m.  This annual concert celebrates the season with favorites such as Sleigh Ride and the popular sing-a-long the Holiday Pops will bring a smile to your face and warmth in your heart. Enjoy this annual tradition with Northeast Indiana’s premiere orchestra! Corporate sponsorship is provided by First Farmers Bank & Trust. All tickets are $18.

Brighten your holidays with A Very Electric Christmas: Max’s Holiday Adventure, taking place on Fri., Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m. Audiences of all ages will treasure this magical tale of family, friendship and hope set to timeless holiday hits. Tickets are $14 and $9.
