WABASH, Ind.–Honeywell Arts & Entertainment welcomes guests of all ages to Dr. James Ford Historic Home for a full schedule of fun, family-friendly events in 2021.

2021 Events at Dr. James Ford Historic Home:

Ice Cream Social – Friday, July 2, 2021, 5-8:00 p.m.

Celebrate First Friday in Wabash with free ice cream, games, and a craft on the lawn! Sponsorship is provided by Brainard Excavating & Snow Removal LLC.

The American Front Porch – Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, 7:00 p.m.

Paul Hayden, Director of the Northeast Field Office of Indiana Landmarks in Wabash, Ind. will cover an architectural guide of residential porches that evolved between 1830 to 1930. Guests are encouraged to bring photographs of their front porches to ask questions about appropriate maintenance and restoration issues. General admission is $4; members and donors receive complimentary entrance.

Autumn Festival – Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, 5-8:00 p.m.

Celebrate the harvest with interactive learning at the Home, complete with period demonstrations, games, and crafts! This event is free to the public as part of First Friday in Wabash. Sponsorship is provided by David L. Mann, CLU, ChFC, CFP, MSFS, Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company.

Trick or Treat at the Home – City of Wabash Trick-or-Treat Hours

Calling all goblins, ghosts, and monsters! Candy will be handed out on the haunted porch of the festively decorated Dr. Ford Home.

Wabash and Erie Canal – Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, 7:00 p.m.

Jeff Koehler will present the history of the Wabash and Erie Canal from the beginning of its planning to the last sale of the property in Terre Haute in 1876. Come prepared to learn and share about this interesting time in our state’s history. General admission is $4; members and donors receive complimentary entrance. Sponsorship is provided by Modoc’s Market.
