Disc Golf Volunteer Workdays Nov. 4 and 18 at Salamonie Lake

ANDREWS, IN- The public is invited to participate in Salamonie Lake’s Disc Golf Volunteer Workdays on Nov. 4 and 18.

The workdays’ project will involve installing tee pads and baskets, trimming vegetation, and clearing walking hazards from fairways.

Volunteers may sign up for one or both days and one or both sessions per day. Sessions will run from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. with lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Volunteers should bring their lunches or enjoy a provided bowl of chili.

Volunteers should meet at the Wildlife Management Pond shelter before each work session. The lunch break will be held at the shelter.

If you would like to use your own tools, they welcome you to bring loppers, shovels, and rakes. Bring your work gloves and wear closed-toed shoes.
