GRANT COUNTY, IN- On January 3, 2015 at approximately 3:36 pm, officers were dispatched to the Cardinal Greenway in the area of 8th and D Street for a report of a person down. Officers located David Wise (age 24) deceased as a result of a single gunshot wound.
Detective from the Marion Police Department have continued to work this investigation following up on
leads and information they received. Detectives completed their investigation and submitted this case
to the Grant County Prosecutors office requesting charges.
On July 14, 2023 the Grant County Prosecutor’s office formally filed charges on the following two
individuals:
Terrence Devon Fetz, date of birth 12-6-1990 and Darzell Demont Jones, date of birth 9-11-1982, both
have been charged with Murder and Conspiracy to commit Murder.
On July 16, 2023 Darzell Jones surrendered himself and is currently incarcerated at the Grant County Jail.
Terrence Fetz is currently incarcerated in the Indiana Department of Corrections Westville prison.
