NORTH MANCHESTER – On May 25, 2017 the North Manchester Police Dept. responded to reports of multiple shots fired and someone injured in the driveway at 619 E. 5th St North Manchester, IN. Three NM Police officers arrived at the scene within minutes. Officers located one deceased male in the driveway with several gunshot wounds. They also found a female with with a gunshot wound who was then transported to Parkview hospital in Fort Wayne and later released. The victims names have not been released at the time of publiching.
The suspect Tiffany Renae Chapman-Lane age 32 of South Whitley later turned herself in at the North Manchester Police Dept. and was taken into custody. The case is still under investigation. Assisting the NM Police Dept were Wabash County Sheriff’s Dept.., Indiana State Police, Parkview ambulance service, Wabash County Coroner, Wabash County Prosecutor and North Manchester Fire Dept.
