Jeffrey A. Alexander, 60, Marion, died at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on September 5, 1956, to the late James Lee Alexander and Sherrill (Wyatt) Sheron.
Jeff was a graduate of Marion High School and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Gas City. He liked to read and especially enjoyed Native American history.
In addition to his mother, Sherrill, Jeff is survived by his sisters, Cindy Pate, from Georgia, Christy Bleicher, Jonesboro; uncle, Jack (LaMerle) Alexander, Greentown; and cousins, Suzel Morrow, Marion, Jacki (Ross) Petty and Jennifer (Dwayne) Poole, both from Tennessee, and Jill (Peter) Shiposh, Greentown.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Alexander; sister, Elizabeth Foster; grandparents, Frank and Merle Alexander; grandfather, Dorman Wyatt; and maternal grandmother, Maxine Trowbridge.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no services.
