White’s Residential & Family Services Announces Hire of Chief Operations Officer

Wabash, Ind. – White’s Residential & Family Services, one of Indiana’s oldest and largest nonprofit social services agencies, announces that it has hired Michael Horn as Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel. Horn has vast and extensive skill set from a variety of professional backgrounds that will provide support as White’s continues to delivers superior care. 

“Due to the growth of White’s programs, strategic initiatives, and the changing landscape of treatment services, White’s board of directors has identified the opportunity to hire a Chief Operations Officer,” said Damon Seacott, White’s Residential & Family Services Board President. “We are pleased to welcome Michael Horn into this position at White’s.” 

Horn recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance, Privacy and Risk Officer for Redimed and Lutheran Medical Group. Horn began his career as a private attorney in 2007 after completing his Juris Doctorate at Indiana University. In 2011, Michael was called away from private practice as an attorney accepted a position as Director of Charitable Products and Church Loans at Everence Financial, and held various Compliance Roles at Zimmer Biomet.  Michael’s strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail and legal background has been honed throughout his professional career.

In his new role as the Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel, Horn will be responsible for oversight of Compliance and Quality Assurances, Information Technology, and Support Services. Horn’s leadership and direction of staff along with his capacity to help guide White’s strategically will be a huge asset as White’s continues to navigate a complex and changing field.
