Wabash, Ind. –Organized by Wabash Marketplace, First Friday in downtown Wabash will kick off its eighth year! First Friday encourages the community to celebrate in downtown Wabash on the first Friday of the month from 5-8 pm. This free event features downtown shopping, food, live music, and kids’ activities! The 2019 dates are February 1, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4, November 1, and December 6.
For those that are new to the event, we suggest you pick up a copy of the First Friday Guide, visit the featured businesses, try our Snapchat filter, and ride Trolley No. 85 through downtown.
An official First Friday Guide is published each month. The Guide has all of the essential details of the event—special discounts, times for live music, and pop-up vendors. Participants visit each of the featured businesses to validate the First Friday Guide and one winner will receive a gift basket, compliments for First Farmers Bank & Trust. First Friday Guides can be picked up at Visit Wabash County’s Welcome Center and Modoc’s Market. Once the map is full, you can drop it off at any of the featured locations.
Our favorite way to remember the fun is to use First Friday’s custom Snapchat filter, available only that night from 4-10 pm in the downtown radius. Download the Snapchat app and start snapping some fun photos!
