WABASH, IN- UPDATE: Wabash City Police have been investigating the robbery and have preliminarily arrested Caiden J. Brockhaus, 24, Wabash. Brockhaus is currently being held in Wabash County Jail pending formal charges from Wabash County Prosecutor.
ORIGINAL RELEASE: On August 12, 2023, at approximately 1:50 AM Wabash City Police responded to a reported robbery at the Shell Gas Station located at 111 N. Wabash Street. This is an active investigation, but a weapon was displayed, and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Wabash City Police are asking anyone with information or may have seen anyone in the area to please contact Detective Jason Mooney at 260-563-1112.
