Visit Wabash County 2023 Destination Guide Announced

WABASH, IN- Visit Wabash County, in partnership with the Wabash Plain Dealer, Grow Wabash County, and Manchester Alive, are pleased to announce the release of the collaborative 2023 Wabash County Destination Guide, previously known as a visitor guide.

The guide has been renamed to reflect that Wabash County is not only a place for visitors but also a destination for potential business owners, investors, and residents to relocate. The guide is a full-color, 82-page magazine-style publication that includes insightful articles, visitor information, county demographics, residential relocation information, educational milestones, and business directories.

Taking the lead on the production of the 2023 guide was Hayley Renbarger, marketing strategist for Visit Wabash County. “This project was an opportunity that merged two things I love, sharing about our community and strategic marketing,” said Renbarger. “It’s always invigorating to collaborate with creative professionals like Kaleigh Middelkoop to capture the beauty of Midwest living.”

The cover photo pictures Carrie Reynolds, executive baker, and chef working at 4 Partners in Crime, which is a new tapas restaurant in Downtown Wabash. The cover photo was taken by another local photographer, Jennifer Long-Dillon of Puckerbrush Photography, who also serves as the tourism manager for Visit Wabash County.

“Partnering with Visit Wabash County is another great way for Manchester Alive to showcase our membership and amenities in North Manchester,” said Heather Cruz, executive director at Manchester Alive.

The Destination Guide was designed in-house by Thomas Cavins, creative lead at Visit Wabash County, and the layout was done by Eric Schoening at Vertical Communications.

“The destination guide is a cohesive marketing piece that Grow Wabash County can use to entice investors to consider Wabash County as a place to expand or build new industry and business,” said CEO Keith Gillenwater at Grow Wabash County, ”In addition to listing our members, we are able to share local economic data with anyone who receives a copy”.
