Urbana Lions Club Awards Scholarship

On Tuesday, May 10 th , the Urbana Lions Club presented the Wilbur Dawes
Memorial Scholarship to Northfield Senior Meredith Haupert. The Lions Club
Scholarship honors Wilbur Dawes, former Lions Club Charter Member, past
Urbana High School Principal, and past Northfield High School Principal. The $500
Scholarship is made possible by the family of Wilbur Dawes and the Urbana Lions.
The scholarship is awarded annually to a Northfield Senior planning to further
his/her education or to a Northfield graduate currently attending college.
Meredith plans to attend Ball State University majoring in Elementary Education.
